A COLLABORATIVE CHARITY EVENT WITH SOUTHERN CANCER CARE
In October of 2024, a year to the date when this event will take place, my dad and grandpa were both diagnosed with cancer just a week apart. Unfortunately my Grandpa passed away a month later, but my dad received a cancer free result 8 months later. My family have no one else to thank but the incredible team at the Cancer Care Clinic of St George Hospital for the recovery my dad was able to have.
Almost everyone in their lives will have an experience with cancer - whether it be themselves, family members, close friends and family, even patients. It has impacted us all.
My mission with TWELVE TIMES STRONGER is to empower resilience within patients, by banding together to overcoming hardship through collaboration and research. By putting my physical conditioning to the test, and encouraging the community to join me, I hope to raise much needed funds for the team that helped save my father’s and thousands of other’s lives each and every year.

FAQ’s about Post Partum Exercise
-
Every woman’s experience is different, but we generally recommend waiting until you’ve had your 6-week postpartum check-up with your GP or obstetrician. From there, our Exercise Physiologists can guide you through a safe and structured return based on your delivery and how you're feeling physically and mentally.
-
This 30-minute session is a chance for us to understand your pregnancy, birth, and current physical and emotional health. We’ll chat through your goals, address any concerns, and outline the best approach for rebuilding strength, energy, and confidence.
-
Not at all. Whether you’re an experienced gym-goer or completely new to exercise, we tailor everything to your current level. We’ll start where you’re at and progress gradually and safely from there.
-
Our one-on-one sessions offer completely personalised support, which many new mums prefer during the early stages of recovery. Once you feel more confident, you can transition into our small, supportive group classes at your own pace. Both options are available, and we’ll help you decide what feels right.
-
Absolutely. Our space is family-friendly, and we want you to feel comfortable training in an environment that supports your role as a new mum.
-
We’ll focus on core and pelvic floor strength, mobility, posture correction, and gradual strength-building. You’ll always know the “why” behind each movement, and nothing is rushed.
-
Yes. After your consultation, you’ll receive either two complimentary weeks of off-peak group training or a half-price one-on-one session. From there, we’ll work with you to build a sustainable plan and check in regularly on your progress.
-
That’s exactly why we offer individual consultations. Whether you had a C-section, tearing, pelvic pain, or are managing other concerns, we create your plan with the appropriate care, modifications, and guidance.
